GO04 - Scaling Up Climate Response through Agrifood Systems: Sustainable and resilient agrifood systems to deliver better production, better nutrition, better environment and better life.

Discover how the transition to sustainable and resilient agrifood systems can empower farmers to confront growing challenges—including extreme weather, drought, and heat—while ensuring food security and nutrition for present and future generations. This session will showcase innovative practices and policies aligned with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)'s Four Betters: better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life. By spotlighting inclusive and forward-looking solutions, the session contributes to a just and resilient agrifood future and supports the Global Ethical Stocktake and other agrifood initiatives under Brazil's presidency of the 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference.

Closing session. Day 2 of the Stocktake will consider emerging priorities of Day 1 under an action-oriented, accountability-driven lens. It will delve into concrete thematic approaches that act as catalysts for sustainable food systems. The closing Plenary will tie together emerging global priorities, key accelerators of national transformations, and emerging consensus amongst committed and accountable food systems actors as to the direction, objectives and milestones for the next biennium towards 2030.
