The Future of Science, Technology and Innovation in Agrifood Systems.

 

 This session will explore the role of science, technology and innovation (STI) as a driver of systemic transformation in agrifood systems facing challenges such as climate change, resource depletion and food insecurity. Drawing on foresight analyses by FAO and CIRAD, it will examine emerging technologies, paradigm shifts and future scenarios, while highlighting the need for inclusive, equitable and cooperative approaches to ensure sustainable food futures.
